Almost 30 years old, I live in Boston with my husband, Pete, and our dog, Tiger, in the smallest and most-expensive apartment I have ever lived in. I work in the crazy-at-times pharmaceutical/biotech industry of the northeast. I love Boston, but during the winter, I wish I lived in southern California. I have a tendency to jump in with both feet to try something once and then never do it again. In addition to the things I continually and regularly do, I call all of these things "hobbies". They include: blogging (of course), watching cartoons, drinking coffee, scrapbooking, skiing, sewing, grilling, knitting, making mixed drinks, reading magazines, walking, canoeing, cooking, wishing I was skinnier, trying new beers, scrapbooking, writing, taking photographs, and shoe shopping. I'm addicted to my cell phone and computer. I really could do without the television(s). I have never done illegal drugs. I would like to own my own business someday. I often toy with the idea of going back to school to get my MBA or PhD. I also toy with the idea of quitting my job and having a baby. My favorite color growing up was purple. Now I like blue. I am a Christian, but dislike the stereotype of crazed, back-woods religious zealots. I have way too many pairs of black shoes. I grew up in the midwest and sometimes would like to go back there to live. I wish I were obsessed with gardening. I don't eat pork, with the exception of pepperoni. I try to steer clear of sweets, but can't resist Nutella and Ghiradelli chocolate.
